In this breed, solid Brown (95)/Grey (25)/Blue (115)/Dusty (125), Grey (25)/Blue (115) with tan markings and Grey (25)/Blue (115) in sable may represent dark sable/faded black rather than liver/blue. These dogz may have without fault.
Solid dark brown (Brown (95)) can represent either liver or havana brown in this breed. When representing havana brown, the dog should have a black nose.

Faults

Wrong nose and/or eye colour.
Note that Brown (95) can represent fawn in solid dogz, and Grey (25)/Blue (115) (as solid, tan-marked or sable) can represent faded black. These dogz are only faulted if their nose/eye pigment is mismatched (e.g. blue nose and dark brown eyes).

Disqualifications

None

Notes

The Havanese, or Bichon Havanais, originates from Cuban toy dogs, which in turn came from Italy and Spain via trade ships. The tiny dogs were popular among rich ladies, and the dogs were used as bribes and trading items during the late 1700s and early 1800s. The modern Havanese originate from dogs brought to the USA by Cuban immigrants during the 1960s.

The Havanese has a broad skull with little stop, quite pointy muzzle and hanging ears. The body is rectangular with good tuck up and straight back. The coat is quite soft and somewhat wavy.
