Welcome to the DoPP

The Department of Petz Preservation is a community-run hub for preserving and sharing downloadable content for the Petz series. Whether you're here to rediscover classic files or share your own creations, this guide will help you get started.

What You'll Find

The archive includes a wide variety of content, such as:

• Breedfiles (.dog, .cat)
• Clothes (.clo)
• Toys (.toy)
• Playscenes (.env)
• Sounds (.wav)
• Play Packs (bundled themed content)

Browsing the Archive

Visit the Archive to explore available downloads. Use the category filters or search bar to narrow your results.

Thw download page shows:

• The original file
• Description
• Versioned history of file changes
• Tags and category info
• Uploader’s username
• Upload date
• Preview images (from uploader and community)

Downloading

On each item’s page, you’ll find a clearly marked Download button. Just click to get the main file.

Community Photos

Have a screenshot or preview of a file in action? You can upload additional preview images to any download. These appear in a special Community Photos section on the item’s page.

Uploading Your Own Files

Please read the Upload Etiquette page before adding files to DoPP.

To upload, log in with your POMS universal account, then visit Create Entry in the right hand user menu.

Upload your file, add optional images, and fill in details like title, description (markdown supported), category, tags, and visibility. You can edit the post later or update the file to create a new version.

• Game Version: (P3/P4/P5/Unibreed)
• OW/Non-OW:

Please include any relevant rules associated with the content. This may include:

• Whether the file can be converted to other game versions
• Whether recoloring is permitted.
• If new shelf images or editing internal adjectives is permitted.
This is largely applicable to content with active creators rather than old, abandoned content.

Please include the best way to contact you in case someone modifies the file (e.g., converting it to P5) and would like to have their version included in your submission.

Collections

Create visual themed collections of your favorite downloads. You can:

• Make collections from your dashboard
• Add items directly from a download page
• Edit collection contents manually
• Set a custom cover image
• Browse and favorite collections by others
