the showname i chose is based on the classic romeo & juliet line "oh true apothecary!", while the callname is reference to shakespeare's poem venus and adonis: wherein the blood of adonis mixes with venus's tears to form the red anemone flower. the poem references a lot to the contrast between this & adonis's pale skin, which reminds me of the white against the red on this boy.
