Maremma Sheepdog

Notes

The Maremma should appear large, robust, strong and brave, covered in thick white coat. The head is large and shaped like a rounded wedge, with marked stop and small, v-shaped ears that should be set high and carried close to the head. The neck is powerful with a thick ruff. The body should be strong and muscular with a deep chest, slight tuck up and thick legs. The tail is set low and carried hanging or at the height of the back. The coat is long, rather hard, with a ruff around the neck. It may be slightly wavy.
