Notes

The Chinese Li Hua (pronounced “Lee Wah”) is the native Chinese domestic cat, known in the country for centuries. They are a sturdy, well-proportioned natural breed with gentle, even dispositions. Although widely known in China, they are extremely rare in the rest of the world. As they are a natural breed, they are not strictly in development so much as gathering popularity and support.

A note—at the time this breed was added to PKC, it was accepted by CFA in the Miscellaneous class. It has since been denied opportunity to progress further, but as PKC already had a file and a standard, they elected not to de-accept the breed. UKC has continued this decision.

Type & Judging Remarks
Thicker stripes and bold contrast between stripes and base colour preferred.
